    18-year-old Aramis McKinzie and 20-year-old Akeem Simmons were held on a $4 million bond, while Garlin Minor, 19, was given a $3 million bond.

    The three men are accused of killing William Thomas in October, though police say Thomas was not the intended target.

    William Thomas, 73, was fatally shot in the head while sitting on a porch. NBC 5 Emily Florez reports from his neighborhood where friends are heartbroken over his death and concerned over the violence.

    Thomas was shot in the back of the head while sitting on a porch in the 6800 block of South East End Avenue Oct. 12, according to police, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
