Two missing Chicago sisters were found at the home of an extended family member after they went missing Wednesday after school.

Police said 7-year-old Ariyell Bowman and 14-year-old Erica Davis were last seen leaving school at Fairfield Academy at 2:45 p.m. Their parents said they never made it home.

The girls were found safe just before 6 a.m. Thursday at a family member's home. They spent the night there and will be reunited with their parents later in the morning.

Detectives said this has happened before, and they were looking into the possibility the sisters were with someone they know.
