A missing Chicago man has been identified as a murder victim found stabbed to death in a burned out car in Gary earlier this month.
Emmanuel Dominguez was identified Thursday by the Lake County coroner's office, according to the NWI Times.
Dominguez was last seen on Nov. 2 at a Halloween party in the Damen and Walnut Street area, and search parties organized by friends have been looking for him over the past few weeks.
A Gary police officer spotted legs sticking out of a burned-out car in a wooded area on Nov. 4.
