Midday Stampede: Derrick Rose Tweets That He's Back in Chicago

Rose started tweeting over the weekend

Derrick Rose has been vigorously rehabbing his surgically repaired left knee since undergoing surgery in May. After staying in Chicago for a while, Rose made his annual trek to Los Angeles where he’s spent every summer since turning pro.

Now he's apparently back home. Through his recently created Twitter account, Rose tweeted on Tuesday that he made his return to Chicago, thanking his fans for supporting him as he works on making a comeback to the Bulls lineup:

“Thank you all for the love and support. I feel blessed to have such great fans. Good to be back in Chicago after training all summer in LA.”

Twitter is the ultimate tool for chatter boxes, but this tweet is only Rose’s third since opening his account over the weekend. Not known for being a huge talker, Derrick’s account seems to be an accurate reflection of his personality so far.
