Word to the (not so) wise: when police from two different states are chasing you down, you will not escape.

Two men face charges after speeding through both Illinois and Missouri as part of a high-speed chase. They got caught.

What are you running from, scaredy cats?

Meth, apparently.

Authorities were trying to carry out a search warrant Wednesday at a home near Maywood, Mo., when the residents made a run for it  ... and  the chase was on.

Marion and Lewis county authorities teamed up with the Missouri Highway Patrol and Quincy, Ill. police in a 100 mph car chase that wavered between the two states, and ended with the apprehension of the two suspects.

A later search uncovered Meth in the home.

Marion Country Prosecuting Attorney Tom Redington charged 38-year-old Jeffrey Bock, of Maywood, with possession of a controlled substance and attempt to manufacture a controlled substance.

John Breault, 23, of Palymya, Mo., was charged with resisting arrest.

No other charges have been filed, but two other suspects were detained after the chase.

Police, 1. Meth wizards, 0.
