A sandwich from McDonald's left a bad taste in one woman's mouth and a lawsuit in McDonald's lap.

Vjollca Lecaj claims she bit into a spicy McChicken sandwich and chewed a piece of glass that was inside.

Lecaj bought the sandwich from the Oak Lawn restaurant at 4817 W. 105th St. in August 2010.

The lawsuit filed in Cook County Circuit Court says the restaurant failed to properly inspect and maintain the processing and cooking equipment, as well as the sandwich, to avoid injury.

Lecaj is seeking more than $600,000 in damages. She says she sustained severe and permanent oral injuries, great pain and anguish.
