Man on Heroin Crashes Stroller, Son Inside

Young boy unharmed

Driving under the influence isn't just a bad idea behind the wheel of an automobile. Strollers count, too.

David Sonn, 33, of Lake Station, Indiana, was arrested after police reported seeing him crash a stroller into a Loop building Wednesday afternoon, reports the Sun-Times.

That's what the building gets for standing in the way!

Near West Lake and North Dearborn Streets, Sonn—looking disoriented and dazed—crashed a stroller alongside a wall and then into some newspaper boxes, police said.

Sonn's 10-month-old son sat inside the stroller.

When officers questioned the man, he allegedly admitted to recently shooting up heroin. Police said blood was dripping down his right arm, reports the Sun-Times.

This guy just earned himself a "World's Worst Dad" coffee mug.

Doctors at Children's Medical Hospital checked out the baby, according to the Sun-Times. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The child was released into the custody of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Sonn, who has a long criminal history, was arrested and charged with endangering the life and health of a child.
