A man was shot in the North Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side early Saturday morning.
At about 2:55 a.m., the 23-year-old was shot several times in the 5200 block of North Spaulding, police said.
He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
The shooting occurred less than a block north of North Park University.
