One man was stabbed on the Red Line early Sunday morning, police confirmed.
A man was getting off the train at the Belmont station at 945 W. Belmont in Lakeview on the city's North Side when he was stabbed by another man, police say.
The incident occurred around 3:35 a.m. The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital and is in stable condition. The cause of the incident and relationship between the victim and the offender is unknown.
Police continue to investigate.
