A 23-year-old man died following a shooting in an alley in Chicago's McKinley Park neighborhood Wednesday night.
Chicago Police say Fernando Pineda, 23, was shot in the head at 9:45 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Wood Street. Pineda was standing with a group in an alley when someone allegedly walked up and fired shots, according to reports.
Pineda was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No one is in custody. Police are not aware of a motive.
