A 30-year-old man was reportedly shot in the head over a double-parking incident early Sunday morning, officials said.
The shooting occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 7100 block of South Maplewood Avenue in the Marquette Park neighborhood after an argument over a car that was double-parked and partially blocking access to the street, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Witnesses reportedly said the car left enough for others to get by, however.
The man was taken by ambulance to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was “walking, talking breathing, living,” the Tribune reported.
