Man Shot, Killed in Jeffrey Manor

He was killed while walking in the 2100 block of East 95th Street

A 23-year-old man was shot and killed Friday in the South Side Jeffrey Manor neighborhood.

Someone riding a bicycle opened fired on the man, who was walking in the 2100 block of East 95th Street at 6:09 p.m., according to police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines. He was shot multiple times, Gaines said.

The man, identified as Parrish Flournoy, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 9:08 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Area South detectives are investigating.
