Man Shoots Girlfriend During Argument: Cops

Officers found the woman dead when they arrived

Chicago Police are searching for a gunman who police say shot and killed his girlfriend overnight during a heated argument on the South Side.
 
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 5600 block of South Perry Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood, police said. 
 
Officers arrived on scene and found the 39-year-old woman dead, according to the Chicago Tribune.
 
Her identity remains unknown.
