Man Robs Two Loop Banks Within Minutes

Police described the suspect as a man in his 30s wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt

A man robbed two banks in the Loop about 10 minutes apart Wednesday morning.

The man walked into a Chase Bank branch at 10 S. Dearborn St. at 8:42 a.m., implied he had a weapon and asked for cash, according to Chicago Police.

Ten minutes later, a man matching the description of the suspect in the first robbery entered the Citibank branch at 11 S. LaSalle St., implied he had a weapon and asked for cash, police said.

Police described the suspect as a man in his 30s wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

The man got away and no one is in custody, according to police.
