Man Killed in South Side Fire

A man was killed in a Calumet Heights fire Wednesday, the Chicago Fire Department said.

Fire officials received a report of a South Side still-and-box fire person trapped inside at 9105 South Crandon Avenue, according to the fire department.

Upon responders arrival, a 60-year-old man was found dead in the doorway, officials said.

As of 3 p.m. Wednesday fire officials were still on the scene.
