Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
So when the winner of this season’s Bachelorette Ed Swiderski rolled back into his hometown of Chicago after spending time with fiancée Jillian Harris (including a recent visit to Las Vegas and time in Jillian’s native Vancouver), Ed was acting like a taken man missing his other half, not single and ready to mingle.
Despite recent controversy by tabloids that Swiderski was less-than-faithful to Harris after their engagement, the native Chicagoan hit the town this weekend – but all’s good in the world of reality-tv love. Sources who were at The Underground on Friday night say Swiderski kept his hands to himself.
“I think he was being a good boy,” said the source. Swiderski arrived with a group of guys and stayed until the wee hours of the morning, but he was being faithful to his absent fiancée, say witnesses.

That’s not to say that people didn’t recognize him and approach him, but for Swiderski it was all about going out and having a good time with the guys.
We’re expecting to see a lot more Swiderski come September, when Harris announced she’ll be packing up her bags and moving to Chicago.
