A 28-year-old man fell off the platform and onto the tracks early Sunday at a CTA Red Line train station in the Goose Island neighborhood.
At 6:15 a.m., a 28-year-old man fell off the platform and onto the tracks at the Red Line North/Clybourn station, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Quention Curtis said.
He was taken in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Curtis said. The man apparently was not attempting suicide and the fall appeared accidental.
