A man has died after he was pulled from Lake Michigan near Chicago's Oak Street Beach early Wednesday morning, police said.
Officials were called to the scene at about 4 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Lake Shore Drive.
A man, who officials believe was in his 40s, was pulled from the water and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office could not immediately confirm the death.
