A man was found crushed to death Friday in an apparent accident with a tractor in the Lockport Township, officials said.
A neighbor called 911 after seeing the man in a yard on Renwick Road in the southwest suburbs.
Terrence Nawrot, 65, of Lockport Township, was working outside his residence on Renwick Road near Borio Drive when he was pinned-in between his tractor and the arm of a backhoe, according to the Will County Coroner’s Office.
He was pronounced dead at 12:58 p.m. Friday and an autopsy was scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
The Will County Sheriff’s office is investigating the incident.
