Man Charged with Murder of 14-Year-Old

2 other victims suffer gunshot wounds

A man has been charged in connection with the death of a 14-year-old boy and the shooting of two others in Woodlawn.

Cordell Glover, 19, of the 7100 block of South Wood Street, was charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder for allegedly shooting three young men ages 12, 14, and 19. The shooting occurred on Sept. 14 at the 6500 block of S. Drexel, according to police.

Christopher Travis, 14, died after being shot in the head. The other victims suffered gunshot wounds and have been released from the hospital. 

Glover has a hearing at the Cook Country Criminal Courthouse Sept. 24.
