A Bridgeview man was charged Sunday after he reportedly ran over his girlfriend during an argument Thursday on the Southwest Side.

Taylor Ziyad, 20, was charged with aggravated domestic battery, failure to report an accident or injury, officials said,

He was also cited for driving on a suspended license, negligent driving, failure to notify authorities of damaged or unattended vehicle, no registration, and no insurance, police said.

Ziyad drove over his 23-year-old girlfriend Thursday with his 2001 Volkswagen Passat in the 6400 block of South New England Avenue, according to police.

The girlfriend was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with unknown injuries.
