A Schaumburg man was charged Thursday after he allegedly turned in toilet water for a drug test.
Brian J. Uchwat, 29, is behind bars and faces one count of defrauding a drug and alcohol screening test, Sheriff Keith Nygren said.
Uchwat arrived at the McHenry County government center Wednesday as part of his probation agreement and was administered a random urine screen, Nygren said. During the screen Uchwat turned in a sample of water he removed from the toilet.
“Any attempt by a probationer to tamper with a court-ordered urine screen is considered a serious matter and requires an immediate response," Court Services Director Phil Dailing said in a statement.
Uchwat was arrested and remains in custody at the McHenry County Adult Correctional Facility.
