Man Busted for Bogus Police Call

It’s one number you don’t want to prank call.

Chicago Police arrested a South Side man after he allegedly placed a fake 9-1-1 call. He was charged with a felony -- Filing a False Report of Offense.

Joshua Coleman, 21, allegedly made two 9-1-1 calls, first claiming to report a gunshot victim and then reporting that he had been shot. Coleman made the calls to get police to respond faster to his stolen vehicle.

Coleman is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
