Man Arrested Twice for Giving Heroin to Young Girl: Cops

The girl overdosed twice from the cocaine, police said

A southwest suburban man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly giving heroin to a young girl who then overdosed.

The man was charged with the same thing a week ago, Palos Hills police said.

Matthew Lefebvre, 19, was charged with endangering the health and life of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, police said.

Officers were called at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday to a home on the 11100 Block of Helena Drive where they found a girl needing CPR from a cocaine overdose. Police said she was the same girl who overdosed last week at the same address.

Lefebvre was ordered held on $280,000 bail for Wednesday's arrest.

Another Palos Hills man, 20-year-old Witold Studencki, was charged with possession of heroin and drug equipment in connection with the incident, police said.

The girl was taken to a local Palos Heights hospital.
