    Clayton Jones was charged with one felony count of robbery.

    A South Shore man is accused of knocking over a woman on crutches and stealing her cell phone in the Loop Tuesday.

    Police said Clayton Jones, 23, approached the 39-year-old woman who was trying to hail a cab in the 100 block of North State Street, and tried to snatch her phone.

    The woman fell off the curb and struggled with her attacker before he fled, police said.

    Jones was arrested by Chicago bicycle police after a concerned citizen flagged officers down.
