A northwest suburban man in custody for allegedly placing a Craigslist ad looking for a teenage sex partner.
Lake County Sheriff’s police say 27-year-old Marco Gomez of Elgin thought he was meeting a 14-year-old girl for sex, but was instead met by detectives.
Police say Gomez had been communicating with the "girl" online, and arranged a tryst for July 3.
Gomez was charged with four counts of indecent solicitation of a child and is being held on $75,000 bond.
