Make-A-Wish Foundation Grants 25 Wishes in 25 Hours

Dreams will come true for kids in Illinois this weekend

The Make-A-Wish Foundation in Illinois will be celebrating their 25 year anniversary this weekend by granting 25 wishes in 25 hours to children in Illinois.

Children with illnesses and disorders ranging from Leukemia to Muscular Dystrophy will see their wishes come true with the help of volunteers, airport staff and airline employees.

Shopping sprees, vacations to Hawaii, Turks and Caicos Islands and several trips to Walt Disney World are just a few of the wishes that will be granted this weekend.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation  brings hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions by granting them a wish of their choice.  The organization grants up to six wishes per day on a regular basis. This year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois will grant more than 760 wishes with help from 1,400 volunteers.
