Missing 7-Month-Old Lockport Girl Found

Police believe she was taken by her biological father

A 7-month-old girl taken from her home early Tuesday by her biological father has been found, Lockport Police said.

A police officer on routine patrol located the father, Christopher M. LeBlanc, at about 11:45 a.m. as he returned to the residence. The little girl, Vivianna L. LeBlanc, was found safe and returned to her mother.

Police said they determined there was no criminal intent involved in Vivianna's removal from the home.

Vivianna was previously last seen being taken from the residence at 3 a.m. by LeBlanc in the 1900 block of Hamilton Street, police said.

LeBlanc left the home in a white 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Illinois registration S959533, police said. He was last seen wearing tan shorts, no shirt and no shoes.

Police said he left after telling Vivianna's mother that he wasn't coming back. He left without formula, diapers or clothing for the child, police said.

Because he has no known family in the northern Illinois area, police believe Christopher LeBlanc may be traveling to Texas to see family.

Anyone with information about Vivianna's disappearance is asked to call Lockport Police at 815-838-2132.
