The Rockford Peaches are back again!
There’s no crying in baseball – but there could be some tears shed Saturday as the cast and director of “A League of Their Own” will reunite with fans in Naperville for a special screening of their iconic film.
Eight cast members will join the director Penny Marshall to sign memorabilia and meet fans before a special 8 p.m. showing of the beloved 1992 film at Hollywood Palms Cinema at 352 South Route 59.
You can expect to see Lori Petty (Kit Keller), Megan Cavanagh (Marla Hooch), Tracy Reiner (“Betty Spaghetti" Horn), Anne Cusack (Shirley Baker), Anne Ramsay (Helen Haley), Kelli Simpkins (Beverly Dixon), Patti Pelton (Marbleann Wilkenson) and Ellie Weingardt (the charm school instructor).
