One Injured in 4-Vehicle Crash on I-90 in Northwest Suburbs

One person was injured and several lanes were shut down on Interstate 90 in the northwest suburbs for a four-vehicle accident.

Police said four vehicles were involved in a crash at mile marker 58.25 just before 4 p.m.

One driver suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to St. Alexian Brother's hospital.

At least three westbound lanes of the interstate were closed just west of Route 59.

The crash caused big delays on the roadway amid the afternoon rush hour. All lanes re-opened just after 4:30 p.m. 

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
