LSD Crash at Oak Street Sends 4 to Hospital

Flikr

The crash happened in this notoriously dangerous curve on Lake Shore Drive.

An accident near a precarious curve on north Lake Shore Drive on the Gold Coast has sent four people to Northwestern Memorial Hospital Sunday afternoon.

At 2:13 p.m. fire department crews responded to a pin-in traffic wreck at 900 N. Lake Shore Dr., according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Richard Rosado.

Rosado said four people of unidentified ages and genders were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital -- three in good condition and one in serious condition.

At 2:34 p.m. fire personnel went to a separate accident at Chicago Avenue and Lake Shore Drive. Rosado did not know immediately if anyone was injured in that crash.
