Kristin Cavallari Extends Order of Protection Against Chicago Man

Cavallari alleges the man stalked her at a Highland Park gym following her workouts

Kristin Cavallari, the wife of Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, extended an order of protection against a Chicago man Thursday.

Cavallari accused 38-year-old David Berkowitz of stalking her at the Equinox gym in Highland Park, according to the Chicago Tribune, who reported the story. She first requested a "no stalking order" on April 9, and on Thursday the order was extended for two more years.

Berkowitz allegedly followed Cavallari to the gym and then waited for her in the parking lot after her workout March 17 when she discovered she had a flat tire. She said the same man had also stared at her from his car, which was parked next to hers, when she left the gym the previous week, the Tribune reports.

Berkowitz was ordered to stay away from Cavallari and her family, which includes two young sons. He must also stay at least 500 feet away from Halas Hall in Lake Forest, Equinox gym in Highland Park and the Chicago Sport Institute.
