A kitten was found hanging by a bungee cord in Valparaiso
Only a monster would hang a kitten.
Apparently, there are monsters in Indiana. In Valparaiso a few kids discovered their family pet strung up on a bungee cord "hanging from the tree house next to the swing set," a police report states.
Police said that "Megan" was strangled sometime between 9 p.m. -- when her owner let her outside for a walk -- and 2:45 a.m., when she was discovered, according to WBBM Radio.
The childrens' mother said she and her family would bury the kitten.
The hung kitten is only the latest in what seems to a rash of pet abuse cases, e.g., the 20-year-old man who stuffed his girlfriend’s cat into a makeshift bong.
Animal abuses can be reported by contacting humane organizations and societies such as the Humane Society of the U.S. or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
