President Barack Obama is getting some fund-raising love on Primary Day in Illinois.

Nine-time Grammy winner John Legend and Education Secretary Arne Duncan will headline a March 20 re-election event for Obama in Chicago, according to Chicago Sun-Times columnist Lynn Sweet

Sweet says the event features a private performance by Legend and a post-show discussion with former White House domestic policy chief Melody Barnes. It all goes down at the Chicago home of Grosvenor Capital Management L.P chief Michael Sacks.

Ticket prices are aimed at heavy hitting donors. Cost of admission is $5,000 per person, and host table seating is $25,000 of raised of donated cash, Sweet reports.

Obama returns to Chicago a few days prior for a fund-raising lunch at  the Palmer House Hilton.

The raised cash will be used for the Democratic National Committee and Obama's Chicago-based 2012 campaign headquarters.
