Jessica Draskau-Petersson of Denmark could make it to the top 10 following a personal best of 2:30:53 at the 2014 Zurich Marathon in Switzerland.
Draskau-Petersson said she views the Chicago Marathon as a comeback race.
“I hope to be fit and healthy and part of a special event in a great city," she said. "It will be exciting to be in a race with a group of women working together to secure qualifying performances for the Rio Olympics. Time wise my goal would be to run my first sub 2:30 marathon on the streets of Chicago." (Twitter: @jessdpMarathon)
