Jesse Jackson Jr. Files for Divorce From Wife Sandi

Former Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. filed both a petition and a certificate for the dissolution of his marriage to his wife, former Chicago Ald. Sandi Jackson, according to court documents.

The divorce case was originally filed July 14 in the Domestic Relations Division of Cook County Circuit Court. At that time, Sandi Jackson was in prison. According to the court docket entries, the case progressed – with various court appearances – throughout the fall.
