Terror at the airport?

A man wanted for alleged terror threats was arrested at O'Hare Airport Thursday night, police said.

Ismail Alqawasmi, 36, of Richfield, Minn., is in police custody after being arrested at 8 p.m. at O'Hare, according to police. He is wanted on a warrant from Minnesota.

Alqawasmi flew into the United States from Amman, Jordan, on Royal Jordanian airlines.  A customs official conducting a name check found an active warrant from Wright County in Buffalo, Minn, for "terroristic threats."

No details about the threats were available.

Officials searched Alqawasmi and retrieved a Jordanian passport, which is being held by U.S. Customs, according to police.

Alqawasmi was expected to appear before a judge later Friday and the matter will be turned over to Minnesota authorities.
