Intoxicated TBOX-ers Shatter Comic Store Window

Chicago's "Twelve Bars of Christmas" could leave many attendees behind bars.

Two men in holiday garb were seen fighting on Saturday Dec. 8, in front of Chicago Comics at 3244 North Clark Street, according to DNAinfo.com.

The men were allegedly arguing over an ashtray with marijuana leaf motif purchased from the neighboring smoke shop when employees witnessed one man's face "burst through the storefront," shattering the business's window.

Chicago Comic's owner, Eric Kirsammer, said the injured man was "soaked with his own blood" and unmistakably intoxicated. The man was then ushered to a nearby hospital by the police.

Kirsammer is in the process of filing an official report.

Early Sunday morning, an Uptown man allegedly attacked another man with a broken beer bottle in the bathroom of a Wrigleyville bar and is now facing felony charges.
