Infant Injured When Brick Thrown Through Chicago Window

A 7-month-old baby girl was injured Sunday when she was hit by a brick that was thrown through the window of a home in Chicago, police said.

Authorities said just before 8:30 p.m. a 25-year-old man threw a brick through the window of a home in the 1400 block of West 73rd Place. The man was involved in a domestic-related altercation before the incident, officials said.

The infant, Ja'Myah Lee, was taken to University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital in stable condition.

No one was in custody for the incident as of Monday afternoon but Area South detectives were investigating.
