A Hammond, Indiana man was sentenced to 15 years in prison Wednesday for dealing cocaine and robbery.

Arvell Greer, 25, sold cocaine to an informant working with Hammond police in February 2009. In December of that year, he and co-defendant Terry McClinton, 22, of Chicago, approached a car and demanded the driver get out. They then hit the victim with a gun, took his wallet, and fled the scene.

McClinton was sentenced to 28 years in prison for one count of dealing cocaine and two counts of robbery.

Greer has a criminal history, with drug convictions in both Indiana and Illinois and multiple misdemeanor convictions.
