An Illinois community college has been named among the best in the country.
According to personal-finance website WalletHub, which analyzed 821 schools across the country to name the Best & Worst Community Colleges, Rend Lake College ranked among the top 10.
The southern Illinois school was no. 7 on the list, with the top community college being New York’s Helene Fuld College of Nursing.
The schools were ranked on cost and financing, education outcomes and career outcomes.
Other Illinois colleges that made the top 100 include Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences, which ranked at no. 24, and Olney Central College, which came in at no. 73.
