Hundreds Line Up for New iPhone

The madness started even before the iPhone 4G arrived at the Apple Store on Chicago's Magnificent Mile.

Emilio Munoz  set up camp outside the retail store at 1 a.m., but he wasn't the first one there.

"You should have come earlier," Munoz said. "The first guy in line was offering his spot for $500."

Glen and Kim Taylor, standing in line with their two sons, Cameron and Reid, said they’d wait as long as it took “until we get it”.

Cherry Richardson, camped out with her laptop and a chair, had been waiting since before 4 a.m.

The hundreds waiting in line were customers who had pre-ordered the phone. The iPhone 4G will be sold in stores and online June 29.
