Was it just a couple of weeks ago we were talking about unseasonably cool temperatures?

Summer is providing another reminder that it's not ready to loosen it's grip on the Chicago area with temperatures in the 90s possibly in our near future.

But before you crank up the air conditioning, a beautiful weekend is on tap.

Friday is expected to be mostly sunny and less humid with a high of 82 degrees. Expect more of the same on Saturday, but Sunday is when you'll first start noticing the change, with more humidity and temperatures close to 90 degrees.

Monday is when things start getting hazy and hot, with temperatures in the low 90s. Expect temperatures in the 90s throughout the week, with the first chance for any cooling rain coming on Wednesday.
