But health officials say it's important to remember some food safety tips to keep from getting sick.

Buffet-style food can easily spoil and cause foodborne illness. Health officials say wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds before and after handling food.

Also, health officials say do not leave food for more than two hours at room temperature.
