The Pump Room was temporarily shut down after the legendary restaurant failed two health inspections in two weeks.
A spokesperson for the spot said the issue was a broken pipe that has since been resolved. However, the city’s health inspection report showed otherwise.
The city’s report said the restaurant had "over 30 live adult and infant roaches in kitchen," as well as "15 or more live fruit flies flying around the kitchen food prep."
The report repeatedly orders restaurant managers to "clean and sanitize" all parts of the food operation.
The health department has confirmed The Pump Room has passed inspection and will reopen Tuesday.
