Wheeling's own Haley Reinhart will not be the next "American Idol."
The local star was sent home Thursday after she received the fewest of 95 million votes.
Reinhart thanked the judges and stated "this is only the beginning."
She will be returning back home just days after her she was in town performing at her hometown celebration that took place Saturday.
Reinhart was one of the top three remaining contestants.
