Bond was set at $75,000

A Grayslake man was arrested Friday and charged with possession of child pornography, officials said.

Brian Stroud, 53, of the 0-100 block of Pine Street in Grayslake, according to officials with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

During the execution of a search warrant, Stroud led officials to the location of a hidden computer believed to have images of child pornography on it, the sheriff’s office said.

A forensic examination of the computer found numerous pornographic images, some of which were identified to be child pornography.

Investigators also seized several other electronic devices capable of storing electronic media, according to a release.

Stroud was charged with two counts of felony possession of child pornography and his bond was set at $75,000, according to authorities.

Officials said because of the “extensive” amount of pornography, further investigation will conducted to determine if more charges will be sought.
