The bunnies have moved out and the doctors are moving in ... well sort of.
The 680 N. Lake Shore Drive address, the former home of Playboy Enterprises Inc., will now house Children's Memorial Hospitals finance and legal teams, according to Crain's Chicago Business. The move came after Playboy announced in 2010 that they are relocating to Los Angeles.
Children's Memorial Hospital will sublease the 15th and 16th floors from the magazine company, according to Crain's. The area totals nearly 96,000 square feet in size for the hospital to use.
Doctors will not conduct any patient work at the old Playboy headquarters. It will only house 425 employees conducting administrative work.
Children's Memorial employees are expected to move in the early fall of 2012.
