Missing Girl, 4, Found on West Side: Cops

Jeniyah Dickens, 4, was found just after 8:30 a.m. on the 5000 block of West Congress Parkway

A young girl reported missing after a teenage friend of the babysitter took the child and never returned her has been found, police said.

Jeniyah Dickens, 4, was found just after 8:30 a.m. on the 5000 block of West Congress Parkway, according to police. Jeniyah was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

A person is being questioned in her disappearance. It's not known who found the child.

Chicago Police say Jeniyah was last with 17-year-old Diamond Oliver, given permission by Jeniyah's babysitter to take the child to a restaurant near Harrison Street and Lotus Avenue.

The girl's family reported Jeniyah missing after Oliver did not return her home on South Central and did not call or contact anyone, police said.

Jeniyah is described as an African American girl, standing 3 feet-3 inches, weighing 40 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a Dora the Explorer coat.

Diamonds is an African American, between 5-feet-9 and 6-feet tall, weighing 130 pounds with curly hair in a long ponytail and parted down the middle. She was last seen wearing a red Pele jacket, orange sweater, black jeans and black boots and carrying a Gucci purse, police said.

Police say both may have been seen leaving a game room at 12:30 a.m. at Harrison and Cicero.
