Filmmaker George Lucas and Ariel Investments’ Mellody Hobson on Saturday will celebrate their wedding at Promontory Point Park in Hyde Park.
Stage and tent equipment have been set up in part of the park east of the bike path area, which will be closed on Saturday for the celebration, according to Crain’s Chicago Business.
The Chicago Park District notified residents that parking lots around 55th Street as well as the Museum of Science and Industry’s southern lot will be closed.
Musician Van Morrison performed last Saturday at their wedding in Marin County, Calif.
